Why Lingerie Needs Its Own Inspection
A wire that pokes through or elastic that has already lost its recovery is a fault a customer finds against their skin, not on a hanger.
Lingerie is built from small, precise components — underwire channels, hook-and-eye rows, lace trim, elastic bands — assembled to close tolerances on a garment that sits directly against the body, so a construction fault that would be forgivable on outerwear is not here. Elastic recovery, cup symmetry, seam finishing and hardware all have to hold up to the tech pack and approved sample, not just look right folded in a poly bag. An on-site inspection checks a statistical sample of the finished, packed garments against your specification before the order ships, so a fault is caught at the factory, not against a customer’s skin.
