Why Jewelry Needs Its Own Inspection
A loose stone or a clasp that fails is a fault a customer only discovers when the piece is already on, and by then it is a lost sale, not a fix.
Jewelry is small, high-value and worn against the skin, so faults that would be minor elsewhere — a stone set slightly off, plating that has not fully covered the base metal, a clasp that does not hold under normal wear — are not acceptable here. Weight, stone count, plating thickness and closure function all have to match your specification and approved sample, not just look right in a photo. An on-site inspection checks a sample of the finished, packed pieces against your specification before the order ships, so a fault is caught at the factory, not against a customer’s skin.
